Hi stampers and crafters. I currently live in Greensboro, North Carolina although, I'm an Atlanta native. I am married, have two children and one grandchild. I love all things animal (we've) had many during our time here). I have been crafting with StampinUp! products for 21 years. I also love to make wreaths, sew, diamond paint, design custom vinyl transfer apparel and build dollhouses. I love to read and swim also. I love the beach and the mountains. Often, I'll bring my crafting supplies along on vacations, etc. Stamping and crafting is very relaxing and cathardic for me and I enjoy seeing what I can make with StampinUp!'s perfectly coordinated products.

Stampin' Up! Perched In A Tree

Good day stampers and crafters.  I have a workshop coming up and I wanted to craft with this beautiful Perched in a Tree Stamp and Die set.  This particular card is replicated from the Stampin' Up! Christmas Mini Catalog from July - December 2022 with a few changes.  This is such a great little set for all sorts of occasions.  Today, I chose a kindness sentiment that is included with the stamp set. I have also included pictures at the bottom of the post of how this set can be "stepped up" from a basic card.

Instructions:

Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and fold. Orientation will be landscape. This is the base layer.

Second panel is Crumb Cake cut to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.  Emboss this layer with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the center of the base layer.

Stamp the bird and branch on basic white with Smoky Slate ink and color according to taste.  Die cut these pieces out and adhere to the left side of the embossed panel.

Die cut the flowers die with basic white cardstock.  Sponge desired amount of Daffodil ink onto the die cut and adhere it to the end of the branch.

You can then stamp the sentiment directly onto the embossed panel, or as I did, stamp it in Memento Black Ink onto basic white cardstock and punch with double oval punch and adhere to the panel.
